I overheard this conversation today as I was making lunch in the kitchen and the children were playing with Playmobil toys in the bedroom.
Charlotte: Ethan, do you want to get married when we get older?
Ethan: No.
Alexander: Then who are you going to marry?
Ethan: I don't know who I'm going to marry, but I know it's not going to be Charlotte.
Charlotte: Can we still visit each other?
Ethan: Sure. You can still be my girlfriend.
Charlotte: Forever?
Ethan: Yeah, forever.

You just have to wonder what goes through those little minds when they think of their parents! SO sweet...you do know it has come true all those years later, you never know :)
