Back to the Exploratorium

Another entry on my list of things to do this summer was a visit to the Exploratorium. When we went with my class, we never made it upstairs. I was upset to have missed out on the cow's eye dissection! I have been asking to go back ever since. Besides, Alexander missed out on the visit altogether. We went yesterday and had lots of fun!

There were three lights on us and we saw how each one made a shadow of us. Mummy forgot to turn the flash off for the first picture, so that just shows a single shadow. The second photo shows what we actually saw.

There were many other cool things to see and do. We spent at least three hours and still did not see it all. And we did catch the cow's eye dissection this time. Alexander only sat through the two minutes or so and then ran off to play with a microscope. I watched the whole thing, but I admitted to Mummy later that it was gross and I wished I hadn't. Next time I'll stick to the flower dissection.

Keresztmama has dissection envy!! What a cool experience Sari. I'm so proud of you for sitting through the whole thing! :)
