Our tomatoes started growing while we were in Cleveland in June. We've been watching them get bigger and turn redder ever since. Yesterday I was sitting at the table eating my dinner. Suddenly a tomato dropped right onto my placemat! It was only about the size of a cherry tomato, but it was very yummy.
When Daddy saw how much we enjoyed watching the plants flower and grow fruit, he bought us a pepper plant as well. We were shocked at how quickly a pepper started to grow. We don't love green peppers though, so we want to wait until it turns yellow or orange before we pick it.

wow those tomatoes look great and so does the pepper. I never tried to grow peppers but must try now since you had success.
