Happy Birthday to Us by Charlotte

Yesterday Alexander and I celebrated our birthdays again, this time with our friends in San Francisco. We were expecting a sunny clear day, but we had a foggy, cold, windy one instead. We had fun anyway, but it would have been even better if we hadn't been so cold.

My friend Ethan came early so that our mothers could set up the party. We had lots of fun playing since we haven't seen each other in a while.

Thanks to Ethan's mum Sarndra néni who helped our Mummy set up the tables, watched us while Mummy went home to bring us warmer clothes and the rest of the food, and baked the delicious chocolate cupcakes. She even baked enough for leftovers, so we will continue to thank her for several days!

We kept warm by running some relay races. We didn't all understand exactly how a relay works, but we had fun running, jumping, and hopping.

My wish for next year is a warmer, sunnier day for our celebration. Daddy says that we should celebrate our birthdays like Queen Elizabeth. She was born in April, but celebrates the Queen's Official Birthday in June when the weather is better for the parade.

So as long as we're living in San Francisco, we may start celebrating the Webster Family's Official Birthdays in September. Stay tuned.
