I have survived 100 days!

The day that we went to the Exploratorium happened to be our hundredth day of Kindergarten! We did some fun activities throughout the week to commemorate this milestone (and to practice counting to 100).

First, we had a 100th day project. We had to create a scene on a poster board, incorporating 100 pieces of something. Since I love rainbows, I decided to paint a rainbow with 100 raindrops around it. We went to the craft store and I found some purple and pink jewels that I thought were perfect. Alexander wanted to do a project too, so we bought him 100 stars.

We each contributed some snacks, such as pretzels, goldfish crackers, gummy bears, or various cereals. Then we got to make ourselves a snack bag by counting out 100 pieces of mixed snacks.

My teacher read us Miss Bindergarten Celebrates the 100th Day of Kindergarten. We played other games as well. It was a fun week.
