Happy Birthday to Me

We came to Cleveland to see my great-uncle Feri bacsi visiting from Austria. On my birthday we had lunch with the family and then spent the afternoon outside. It was a lovely day!

I was forbidden to step foot outside until the children finished their birthday surprise for me. I've never had such a large birthday card. It was a masterpiece - the entire patio was covered!

Sándor found the bubble gun that our friend Matthew had bought him in June. We replaced the batteries and he had a blast blowing bubbles. In fact, he played with it so much that the batteries were dead the next morning!

Sári found her jumprope and enjoyed showing off her tricks.

They also had a lesson in American football from Pák, although they played with an Australian football.

After all that running around, we went swimming at Pák's. More about that later...
