Charlotte: Today we had to think of two rhyming words and use them in a sentence.
Mummy: What was your sentence? (expecting to hear words like "cup" and "pup")
Charlotte: I like my waffle even though it is awful.

Mummy: Alexander, why aren't you brushing your teeth? (after several reminders)
Alexander: Because I need help. (whining)
Mummy: You know how to brush your teeth. I'll check them when you're finished.
Alexander: I was thinking about how to brush my teeth. Then somebody took it out of my head. So I don't know how to do it anymore. That's why I need help.
