Sending kisses to Connecticut

Here I am with my Keszemama and Keszepapa, also known as Móni néni and Andris bácsi, also known as Monica and Andrew, also known as Máté’s parents. I love them a lot and I miss them because they live far away in Connecticut.


My Keszemama has not been feeling well recently. We have been thinking about her a lot and praying that she gets better soon.


She's a really great Keszemama. If you don't have one yet, you should get a chemistry teacher for your Keszemama too. She's very patient when explaining how things work and reads me so many good books.

I hope to see you soon, Keszemama. I love you!

More wild animals

Grandma and Grandad left today to return to England. We were sad to leave them at the airport, but we still have lots to share about their visit.


They had seen much of San Francisco during their previous visits, but had never been to the zoo, so we took them there on Monday.


We saw a baby giraffe, a tiger that was roaring very loudly, and some polar bears. Grizzly Gulch was closed for repairs, so we missed seeing that again. We did get to ride the train with Grandad. That was fun.

Sea lions, a carousel, and doughnuts

There are people in San Francisco who will not go near Fisherman's Wharf because it is too touristy. Sure, it is touristy, but it is also fun. We love to go, we took Grandma and Grandad last Sunday, and we would love to take you too.


First we visited the sea lions. They are a bit stinky, but they are entertaining as well.


Next we rode the carousel. This time we chose rocking horses. It made us hungry, so we had some doughnuts covered in sugar. Yummy. (Sticky too.)


We finished by climbing on the sea lion statue. Jaja made it to the top. I kept sliding down. Even so, what a fun afternoon!

We haven't seen snow in a very long time, but that doesn't stop us from making snow angels!

Grandma and Grandad Webster arrived from England on Thursday. We were all very excited for their visit as it had almost been two years since we had last seen them. They joined us in cheering for Charlotte at her soccer game this morning and in touring San Francisco this afternoon.


Our friends Kati and Matt arrived today. It was lots of fun to catch up, and great to have old friends with whom to share the good weather and beautiful scenery. (Kati, I say "old friends" only because Kindergarten seems like such a long time ago!)


The children were also excited to see Kati néni and Matt bácsi. They were especially grateful for the Hello Kitty and Mater lunchboxes that toured San Francisco with us today.


And what better excuse could we have for keeping the kids up late than to have them experience a beautiful sunset with friends and family?
